Aqeel Al Mosawi (عقيل الموسوي ) (born 27 January 1966) is a Bahraini dentist, writer, novelist and photographer. He's widely known for his controversial novel Arymehr Nama. ==Early Life, Education & Dental Career== Al Mosawi is the son of Sayed Mohammed Saleh Al Mosawi, a Bahraini well-known religious speaker and poet. Born and raised in the old neighbourhoods of Manama, where he lived his childhood and finished his entire schooling before he earned a scholarship from the Bahraini ministry of education to study Dental Surgery in Baghdad University. Al Mosawi graduated in 1989 and spent his college life in Iraq during the Iraq-Iran war. Following his graduation from Baghdad, he practised dentistry in public clinics and helped founding the official Bahraini Dental Society in 1994 before earning another scholarship to obtain his Master of Dental Science from the University of Minnesota. He returned in 1996 to Bahrain with the degree, established his own clinic and rose to become one of Bahraini’s most successful dentists in the new millennium. Al Mosawi had lectured in a number of regional and international dental conferences in the field of dentistry between 1999 and 2012.
